If I’m not back in 15 minutes, call Art, tell him everything, and make sure Kira’s safe, yeah?

I saw this post among the slew of comments on this Planned Parenthood post regarding the decision on the after 20-week abortions ban in Arizona.
It was nice to see a conservative man standing up to the anti-choice bullies on the page.

AVAILABLE: ONE WEB GEEK WITH NEW MEDIA EXPERIENCE, EAGER TO CHANGE THE WORLD
The 2012-13 TV Season In One Depressing Chart
(in which the downward trend of live network TV viewership is made graphically plain for all to see, and every comment on the article is pure gold)
(in which the Chief Content Officer for Netflix explains that providing good viewing options has been shown to decrease piracy)
Warehouse 13 makes it onto TorrentDay’s top torrents for the first time in memory
(in which we all look at Syfy’s nonexistent on-demand content and go “WTF”)
How The Hell Did We Get Here, Or: Why Do Great shows Get Cancelled?
(in which a show’s renewal campaign gets very frank about the state of the industry and its viewership trends [and then backs it up with survey data])
If you are a business that depends on advertising for revenue and the consumers of your product (on which you offer advertising) are using your product in a way that does not produce the same advertising revenue, the sustainable business strategy is to stop undervaluing the advertising on whatever platform they’re using.
There’s only so much you can do to entice a customer to use your product the way you want them to…and nearly all of those things are going to fail.
Also available, one doctoral candidate with experience in ethnographic and qualitative methodologies and strategic communication who will explain to you why your core fanbase is so fucking pissed off
